disadvantage is that beginners still need the teacher’s help to explain some of the
vocabulary encountered.
Another example of such a site is Fotobabble which allows students to record their
own voice and attach the recording to a photo they can choose from the ones they already
have. It is very easy to use as the students can sign in using their Facebook account and
they can then send it to the teacher or share it on the class group. An advantage is that the
students can develop confidence to speak before an audience, not necessarily sharing the
recordings with anyone. Another advantage is that students can get the app and use it
whenever they want, without being limited to accessing it only when in front of a computer.
