Ecuador has the highest exchange rate ( 3104 %) not only among the countries of South America , but also among North American countries such as the United States of America ( exchange rate 81 %) and Western European countries as is the United Kingdom ( 117 % exchange rate ) as expressed in Table 1 and Graph 1 . After Ecuador , Colombia continues with the 1802 % exchange rate between 1996 and 2017 , Peru with 1376 %, Paraguay with 917 %, Brazil with 736 %, Chile with 627 %, Uruguay with 457 %, Bolivia with 330 %, Argentina with 224 % and Venezuela with 51 %.
