The community will also participate in activities that encourage students to develop global citizenship skills through community projects in all the sections of the school . In pre-school , students will develop an awareness of other races and cultures through fun projects . In elementary school , students will build on global awareness and develop global knowledge of world issues through the study of a specific theme across different regions or countries . In middle school , students will expand their knowledge of global issues and develop an understanding citizenship and human rights by discussing complex topics in human rights conferences . In high school , students will have opportunities to share their international experiences with their peers , teachers , and parents in global action fairs . The global citizenship program is a community-oriented and interdisciplinary project that explores global awareness , global knowledge , human rights , and global actions to empower our students with essential skills to serve and lead in diverse communities .
The school ’ s internationalism projects promote values , skills , knowledge , and experiences that prepare students to be active contributors and change agents in a world that is interconnected and interdependent .
