SPORTS
As we all know, sport at the School of Nations is very valued and loved by many students. An example of this is the held this year in sports spaces. We all know that the institution has always invested heavily in sports practices and encourages that the whole community actively participates in the physical activities offered.
This year, the school presented us with the construction of the important improvements in the field and on the court. Physical education classes take place twice a week, while many schools ignore its importance, and some grades only every 15 days with most classes together. Our school understands how important this subject is because we need to exercise. EDN also offers many sports such as volleyball, basketball and football with great schedules. On Mondays we have field football from 3:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and basketball on the court at the same times Professor Murilo and his assistant Gabriela (separate training for different grades - a great affection and dedication of the school to the students). Tuesday and Thursday we have more football and volleyball on the court for different grids. On Wednesday, field football is only for girls from the sixth year at different times according to each class.
Our school also offers various games and championships such as
NR, Nations Cup and several alternative tournaments. I'll start by talking about NR, a sports camp in Minas Gerais or São Paulo, where several
international schools, from different places, meet to play games. That
camp offers two versions - Friendship, for people from the sixth to eighth grade, and ISSL, for people from grade 9 to 12. ISSL is already contesting medals among the modalities such as volleyball, basketball, soccer and futsal. The Nations Cup is a tournament which includes, in addition to EDN, numerous other schools invited from Brasília, and includes the same sports modalities of NR and all grades at different times according to each school level.
