RENOVATIONS AT THE MUSIC CENTER AT
STRATHMORE ENHANCE BSO PATRON EXPERIENCE
Started in March 2018, the Music Center at Strathmore is nearing completion of an exciting expansion project that will add
5,000 square feet of glass-enclosed space and an escalator.
The project will double the number of patrons who can be seated and served in the café and expands capacity for pre- and
post-show events. The new escalator connecting the Promenade and Orchestra will assist patrons with mobility issues and
ease congestion pre- and post-performance. The project is currently scheduled for completion in Spring 2019.
