Jaimé-Lee and Louise are passionate about community. It is this passion that has driven them over the last eight years and has built a thriving business that helps residential and mixed-use developments build their brand, drive the value of their assets, and gets the members involved and engaged in their community.
So what is Estate Living? Estate Living is a portfolio of businesses, which includes community consultancy, media platforms, a publishing house, and a sales, lead generation and marketing agency. They regularly partner with various industry associations, which places them at the core of the industry, and provides access to information and opportunities within this community.
And what do they do? Estate Living builds communities of like-minded people across the country through identifying key common ground, sharing information, and building relationships with individual estates and the community at large.
Janssen Davies
For the last four years Janssen has been the chair of the HOA board of White River Country Estate and was vice chair for three years prior. He is also chairman of the HOA board of Berg En Dal Estate, Hout Bay, and was previously a director of the Mjejane Game Reserve HOA. Janssen is a member of the advisory board of Wits Business School and a member of Faculty Board – Commerce, Law & Management at Wits University. Since 1987 he has been chairman / director of 32 South African, US-based and Bermudan companies. Other offices he has held include deputy chair of Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, Chair of SANParks Honorary Rangers, Chair of Bidvest Van & Truck Hire – Mpumalanga, Group CEO – SAGE Group, and CEO SA Operations, Chairman SAGE Computing, Chairman SAGE Unit Trusts, CEO SAGE Life, Director of Life Offices Association, and member of the Ombudsman Committee for Life Assurance.
Francois Schoeman
Francois has been involved with the management of golf clubs and estates for more than a decade, and specialises in revitalising ailing facilities. After cutting his teeth at the Bloemfontein Golf Club, he took over as general manager of the Clarens Golf Estate, which through strategic planning and engagement enhanced profitability. He then moved on to Pecanwood, where he brought the then struggling HOA to a state of harmony through strategical management and by implementing innovative ideas. Francois is the CEO of Pecanwood Estate.
Sandra McCann
Sandy is a content communications professional who has been with ARC for six years. Her passion lies in close customer services with members and business partners. She has over 20 years’ experience in the corporate industry, ranging from marketing and sales to HR, skills development, training and implementation of company policy and culture. She also holds a Bachelor’ s degree in psychology.
