Jonathan Gilmour
Jonathan Gilmour is the business development manager at the Association of
Residential Communities (ARC) and owner of CommunityworX HOA Recruitment, a
recruitment company specialising in HOA management placements. Being exposed to
the intricacies of community management at an early age through working closely with
his father, Jeff Gilmour, he has developed an early passion for serving the residential
community industry. Jonathan joined ARC in 2015, and spent his first six months
working at the HOA offices of Eagle Canyon Golf Estate, Fourways Gardens, and St
Francis Links, learning from some of the best community managers and HOA staff in
the country. As business development manager, he is now responsible for member
and partner acquisition, marketing functions and extending ARC’s reach on a national
level. This year, Jonathan attended the Community Associations Institute’s (CAI) annual
conference in Las Vegas, USA, and has worked on multiple projects benefiting the
industry at large. Prior to joining ARC, Jonathan received a Bachelor of Commerce in
marketing management from the University of Stellenbosch in 2013. He then spent
2014 working for Associa, the USA’s largest HOA management company, at their
corporate offices in Dallas, Texas.
