The training and development of estate managers
has been a focal point of residential communities
internationally for many years. The Community
Associations Institute in the USA (CAI USA)
therefore developed its own course material to
address the needs of the industry. Continuous
research and feedback have produced courses
that makes it possible for industry to provide a
high level of professional services to its clients.
Professional Management Development
Programme
The Community Associations Institute of South
Africa (CAISA) decided in 2013 to follow suit.
The courses from CAI USA were introduced
and made available to the CAISA members. The
course content is the same, but local knowledge
and case studies have been introduced to add
a strong South African flavour.
