A new access control system for short-term rentals has also been a major achievement for Zimbali Estate over the past 12 months . The system has re-engineered and streamlined ingress procedures for short-term rental guests and visitors , while adding an additional security layer to the current access control procedures . The new access control system is able to conduct real-time verification with the Department of Home Affairs and download photos of guests as registered with DHA , while the scanners are also able to recognise guests through direct facial recognition . The success of the access control system has resulted in seamless and faster ingress for guests and more efficient traffic flow , without compromising access control procedures .
Finally , one of our most exciting achievements over the past 12 months has been to secure the hosting of the BCX SuperSport Shootout once again . Zimbali Estate ’ s golf course has recently been rated the No . 1 golf course in KwaZulu-Natal , and we are both excited and honoured to be the hosts of this premier celebrity golfing event for the next few years .
