Research Platforms' Performance Reports TMB 2015-2017

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES Genomics/Food Security and Biodiversity The Genomics cluster is one of the original TMB clusters and was led until 2017 by Professor Chris Austin. His research interests dovetailed closely with the Food Security and Biodiversity cluster and the research outputs from the two clusters were indistinguishable from 2015-2017. The departure of Professor Austin and Dr Gan Han Ming and Tan Mun Hua for new challenges and the appointment of Associate Professor Qasim Ayub has provided an opportunity to refocus the research of the Genomics cluster itself. It is expected that outputs from the research of the Genomics cluster and Food Security and Biodiversity cluster will be more clearly distinguished in the future.
