RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
FACILITIES
The TMB platform has access to excellent laboratory facilities that the campus has invested in. The highlight of these are
the Genomics facilities which provide the experimental and bioinformatics capabilities required for medium scale high-
throughput sequencing. The Genomics facility is ISO 9001 certified. The TMB platform also has access to a range of
other advanced capabilities, including the Electron Microscopy facility, neuroimaging facilities, community engagement
(at Segamat, through SEACO) and resources for the study of the brain. In Johor Bahru, the platform has access to fully
functional modern labs and clinical resources.
In addition to these specialised resources, all members of the platform have access to modern research laboratories in
the various Schools in the campus.
