Helping hands: SEACO Youth Club helps flood victims in Segamat
Due to the non-stop heavy rain in early 2017, Segamat, Tangkak and Johor Bahru districts were affected by floods. The floods were caused by rising waters at nearby rivers. Concerned about the flood situation, SEACO volunteers provided a helping hand to clean up flood victims’ homes in surrounding areas after the rain water subsided.
' Gotong-Royong ' Program and Carnival for Senior Citizens
For older adults, good health ensures independence, security, and productivity as they age. A Mini Carnival was held for senior citizens in Bekok( one of the 5 sub-districts SEACO operates from).
