Anna Stodter
Anna is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Coaching within the Carnegie School of Sport at Leeds Beckett University. She has a track record of knowledge translation linked to her internationally renowned research into sport coaches’ learning and development. Anna is a current coach and coach developer working across sports including rugby, football, netball, swimming, and cycling.
Luke Norris
Dr Luke Norris is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology and Coaching, with key research interests in social support and sport coaches’ psychological well-being. Luke’ s focus of research is social support among sports coaches and how this influences coach performance and well-being with a qualitative lens. He also has interests in stress and well-being among sports coaches, as well as women coaches’ experiences. Luke is also a UEFA B qualified coach with over 15 years’ experience, plying his trade in women’ s football.
Mike Partington
Mark Partington, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching at Edge Hill University. He coordinates and teaches several modules that include pedagogy, sociological thinking, practical knowledge in sports coaching, and coach learning, development and education. His research interests include coach behaviours and practices, philosophy for sports coaching and coach learning and development. Mark has professionally coached in participation, development, and performance sports and supports coach development in various contexts. He currently coaches at a professional English youth football academy, where he is also the lead for Research and Coach Support. Mark is also a Coach Developer for the English Football Association.
