The Regional Corporation for the Defense of Human Rights (CREDHOS, Corporación Regional para la Defensa de los Derechos Humanos) and the victim’s families present to Honourable Magistrates of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace, the first report that contains the thirty individual cases of victimization committed in twelve acts of serious violations of the Human Rights and infringements of the International Humanitarian Law; the documentation developed in the frame of the project “STRENGTHENING OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL ABILITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY IMPLEMENTATION OF A PEACE INITIATIVE” that received support from the German Catholic Bishops’ Organization for Development Cooperation MISEREOR –IHR HILFSWERK.
It is necessary to recognize the strength and bravery of the victims’ families, as the support of the corporation team; coordinators, promoters, interns and in general, women and men whom looking for peace and justice, without their help it wouldn't have been possible the realization of this report. Clearly, in this process we find the realities that daily the victims are forced to confront in this conflict; the frustration due to the impunity state of the perpetrators of atrocious acts, the procrastination in the investigations by the state entities, the tough economic situations to which they have been obliged to assume after the acts, and therefore, deep affectations and impacts to them and their families.
In this context, we expect contribute to clear up the truth, the justice realization and obtain the integral reparation of the victims to build up a territorial, community, stable and long-lasting peace. Our main objective is building a democratic nation with effective application of the human rights for our people.
