AVERAGE AGE OF FAMILY MEMBERS

This allows us to observe that 53% of the women interviewed have been waiting for some 28 years for answers to the victimizing facts, and on the contrary, they have received impunity, ignorance of the state and in general terms, revictimization. Precarious progress in investigations or not opening them, implies that in a high degree of likelihood many of these relatives may not see justice or know the truth of what happened, since most of them are at an advanced age. Other two age ranges that have a similar percentage are 38-48 and 49-59 years 20%, this implies that this percentage may have an older when their cases are resolved legally, situation that generates an enormous impact in the family as they affect their hopes. In turn, these ages allow evidence that there are family members who saw the emergence of the armed conflict and others who were born in the middle of it. Today family members are hoping to live in the midst of peace.
