LOCAL
COLLABORATION
Each year Melbourne Festival collaborates
with an extensive list of local artists and
partners to showcase the very best music,
visual and performing arts that Australia
has to offer. Some of these collaborations
and partnerships are decades old, while
others are in their infancy. All demonstrate
the Festival’s ongoing development and
reach into the local arts industry. Proud
of a local arts community that is driven
by creativity, innovation and verve,
Melbourne Festival acts as an incubator.
It brings together ideas and artists, and
commissions work that provokes, inspires
and delights.
