Thank You
MESSAGE FROM THE DEPUTY HEAD OF SCHOOL
On behalf of Crofton House School, thank you for your generosity and dedication to this exceptional community of learning.
I wish to start by extending my heartfelt gratitude to students, families, staff, alumnae, the CHS Parents’ Auxiliary, Alumnae Association, members of committees, and the Crofton House School Foundation and Board of Governors for extending such a warm welcome to me as I joined the community in 2024.
As I reflect on the last year, I have been impressed by three notable strengths of Crofton House School:
1. |
The clarity of purpose shared across the community. |
2. |
The depth and breadth of teaching and learning experiences for students. |
3. |
The deeply engaged community of families, staff, and alumnae in the life of the School. |
As Crofton House School approaches its 128th year, we honour generations of individuals who have contributed to its history, vitality, and excellence in girl-centred, holistic education. Our strategic plan, Thriving in Possibility, charts a forward-thinking course, rooted in our commitments to fostering a sense of belonging, agility, and responsibility that are significant in today’ s everchanging world. We are grateful for your investment in people, place, partnerships, and the dynamic learning spaces that bring our purpose to life. Together, we are creating meaningful learning experiences that empower students to pursue personal paths and positively influence the world.
In this report, we celebrate the culture of philanthropy and generosity of the community. With an Advancement Plan in place, we are building a strong, sustainable foundation for the future. This is made possible through the commitment and thoughtful stewardship of the School teams and volunteers. We are immensely grateful to the CHS Advancement, Communications and Marketing, and Finance teams, as well as the Lunar New Year, Golf Tournament, Golf Live and Silent Auction committees, the Advancement Committee, and the Crofton House School Foundation and Board of Governors for their dedication and principled stewardship of the School. We are pleased to introduce you in this report to the Board’ s Advancement Committee— a dedicated group of parents and alumnae— who partner with the School to support fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship initiatives.
To our donors, sponsors, and volunteers: thank you for your continued trust, collaboration and belief in the possibilities of what the Crofton House School community can achieve together. It is through our collective efforts that we will continue to empower our students to pursue meaningful lives and ensure that Crofton House remains a place of inspiration and excellence for generations of learners.
Kara McDonald, Deputy Head of School
