senior PROFILE If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would want to meet Ellen DeGeneres because not only is she funny, but she’s truly an incredible person. I watch her videos everyday, and I love seeing famous people help out those that need it, and giving little kids presents while seeing that smile on their faces. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned from your parents? Education is important, and being yourself is key. Who is your most influential teacher? My most influential teacher would have to be Mr. Valach, English teacher. He taught me that being nice around others and being positive really makes a difference in your life. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in school? Most important lesson I’ve learned in high school would be to be yourself. It’s a great experience and surround yourself with positivity throughout high school. Also, don’t be afraido try new things or ask questions. What experience or event most significantly impacted your life? How? The event that impacted my life was tearing my ACL. I didn’t think I was capable of going back to being myself at a certain period of time but people around me really supported me through it. It made me stronger and more capable of doing more things I didn’t know I was capable of doing. What would you like to say to the class of 2017? Make your last high school year the most of it.
