Senior Profile:
Kimee Chavez / Liberty High School
In what ways are you different from your Freshman self?
I was more shy when I first started high school. And, I was less outgoing and now I feel like I am
more friendly/outgoing.
What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
Don’t be afraid to make new friends! There are many students that might have similar interest
as you. Also, join a sport or club. There are are many clubs and sports at high school. It’s also a
great opportunity to make new friends!
What sports do you play, how long and what positions?
I have played girls soccer for 3 years. Sadly, my junior year I got injured and couldn’t play during
that year. I mainly played offense, and my position was attacking midfielder and center forward.
Other than sports, what activities are you involved in at school?
I joined ECO SQUAD. It was based on how to make our environment inside and outside an
eco-friendlier place.
What activities are you involved in outside of school?
I volunteer at the Women’s Shelter at St. Mathews Church and
I also played in a soccer club outside of school.
What is your funniest high school memory?
I had no idea what my school’s nurse name was until my junior year and when I finally figured it out, she had the same
name as me.
What’s the most creative excuse you’ve ever used to get
out of an assignment?
I don’t have creative ones, but I have used the whole my mom
took my folder to work excuse.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A college graduate and a job I truly enjoy. Happily married, and hopefully with kids.
