c . must comply with all Bylaws , Medical Staff policies & procedures . 3.5 The Honorary Category
The Honorary Category is restricted to those individuals recommended by the MEC and approved by the Board . Assignment to this category is entirely discretionary and may be rescinded at any time without right to a fair hearing . Removal from the Honorary Category is not reportable . Members of the Honorary Category shall consist of those members who have retired from active hospital practice , who are of outstanding reputation , and have provided distinguished service to the hospital . They may attend Medical Staff , department , and section meetings , continuing medical education activities , and may be appointed to committees . They shall not hold clinical privileges , hold office or be eligible to vote .
3.6 Administrative Category 3.6.1 Qualifications :
The Administrative Category shall consist of physicians ( M . D . or D . O .), who do not provide clinical patient care on routine basis and are engaged in providing administrative functions and services . Administrative category will be reserved for Medical Staff members in administration who do not meet the eligibility requirements for the active category or affiliate category .
Qualifications shall include : a . successful completion of an accredited ACGME residency program ; b .

f . permanent ABMS Board Certification OR current time-limited ABMS Board Certification OR active participation in the ABMS examination and certification system ;
applicants who are not ABMS Board Certified , but are in the ABMS Board Certification examination system , provided they have completed an accredited ACGME residency program in the United States and become certified within five ( 5 ) years of the completion date of the primary ACGME residency program ;
compliance with ABMS Program for Maintenance of Certification ( ABMS MOC ), as applicable ;
current , active , unrestricted medical or osteopathic licensure by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners or the Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine ; and
completion of CME in accordance with the requirements of the State of Nevada for physician licensure .
