What to Eat

Eat foods high in potassium, calcium, magnesium, fiber, and protein.

Low-Fat Dairy Fat-free or low-fat milk, cheese, and yogurt.
Caffeine Reducing caffeine can help to reduce high blood pressure.
Saturated and Trans-Fats Eat less fatty meats, processed foods, and full-fat dairy.
Sodium Common in packaged foods. Avoid adding extra salt to your foods when cooking.
Added Sugars: Avoid processed foods with added sugar, sugary drinks, and candy.
