CMO / VPMA. In selecting members, consideration will be given to individuals who have previous experience or are interested or experienced in credentialing matters.
b. Responsibilities: The Credentials Committee will perform the following duties: review applicants for appointment and reappointment and prepare a written report of its findings and recommendations; review and recommend criteria for new clinical privileges and for privileges that cross specialty lines and recommend whether new procedures or services should be offered; and perform other duties as reflected in the Credentials Manual.
2.3 Medical Staff Quality Improvement( MSQI) Committee a. Composition: The medical staff quality committee is noted in the MSQI charter. b.
Responsibilities: The committee shall be responsible for those functions described in the MSQI charter

Composition: The Committee will consist of at least five( 5) Members of the Active Staff including the Immediate Past Chief of Staff and the present Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities: The committee shall be responsible for those functions described above.
2.5 Nominating Committee a.
Composition: The Nominating Committee is comprised of the Chief of Staff, the Vice Chief of Staff, Immediate Past Chief of Staff, CMO, and VPMAs. The Chief of Staff shall chair the committee. b.
Responsibilities: The Nominating Committee shall convene at least 45 days prior to the election and carry out the functions outlined in the Bylaws.
2.6 Residents, Fellows and Students Committee a.
Compositions: The Committee will consist of the Residency Directors and at least three( 3) Members of the Active Staff, as well as representatives from Administration and Nursing Administration.
b. Responsibilities: The Residents, Fellows and Students Committee will be responsible for the review of training practices that impact the quality of care at Hospital. These issues include, but are not limited to, the supervision of residents,
