A Life-Changing Donation
In 2022 , Renown Health received a generous gift from local philanthropist Helaine Greenberg to develop the Women ’ s Heart Center . Like Renown Health , Helaine has a passion for helping to improve and strengthen women ’ s healthcare in northern Nevada .
I grew up in an era when women didn ' t have the same rights and opportunities as men ,” Helaine said . “ As I got older , I determined that seniors – and mainly women – were an almost forgotten group . I have family members with heart issues , including myself , and I am delighted I could fund the women ' s heart center ( and the Renown Breast Centers ) to make a difference in the lives of women in the Reno community . – Helaine Greenberg
