• Labor & Delivery : A fast-paced and rapidly evolving unit dedicated to the well-being of both mothers and babies , driven by a commitment to women-centered care . Our team members serve multiple roles within one department including labor / delivery , high-risk antepartum , OB Emergency Department , and operating room . This wide variety of care proves to be dynamic work ; you can expect the day to fly by due to the intensive care plans for delivery and the high acuity population we serve . Teamwork is essential and we pride ourselves on having a highly productive , engaged group who show up every day to work for our patients and each other .
• Postpartum : A team that cares for postpartum mothers as they bond with their newborn and recover on our unit . Our nursing team is dedicated to providing our mothers and newborns with compassionate and individualized care that meets the needs of our mothers and their families . During their stay we provide education to help them in their transition to home . We provide gynecological care , couplet care , newborn nursery care , and transitioning care in our nursing roles on the unit .
