• General Surgical Unit : Situated in the Tahoe Tower , our 38-bed post-surgical unit is adaptable to community demands . We offer comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for a diverse range of medical , surgical , and trauma patients . Our unit specializes in various surgical interventions , such as abdominal , vascular , thoracic , gynecological , urological , ear / nose / throat , and ophthalmic surgeries .
• Ortho / Spine Unit : Our 38-bed post-surgical unit , housed in the Tahoe Tower , specializes in providing exceptional pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients with neurological conditions , neurosurgical needs , brain tumors requiring surgery , orthopedic trauma , existing orthopedic conditions , and general medical conditions .
• Sierra 5 : Our 31-bed unit in the Sierra Tower specializes in acute and chronic disease management , as well as pre- and post-surgical patients . Our specialties include pulmonology , gastroenterology , urology , nephrology , endocrinology and infectious disease . Sierra 5 is often referred to as the “ Biggest Little Unit ," emphasizing our commitment to comprehensive care in a personalized environment .
• Sierra 6 : The largest department at Renown Regional , this 54-bed unit is located in the Sierra Tower . We specialize in acute and chronic disease management , as well as pre- and post-surgical care . Specialties include pulmonology , gastroenterology , urology , nephrology , endocrinology and infectious disease .
• Cancer Nursing Unit : Our 27-bed unit in the Roseview Tower provides compassionate and comprehensive nursing care for patients who need cancer related treatments . This may include chemotherapy , pre- and post-operative care , immunotherapy and symptom management .
