BETTER TOGETHER
1
Enlisting the help of a friend as an
accountability and workout partner can be a
great strategy for sticking to your weight
loss goals! As an added bonus, weight loss
becomes a lot less like a chore. You're both
going to be looking fabulous soon!

FLEX THOSE MUSCLES
Got stubborn fat? Don't give up. Lift
weights! Adding muscle mass will actually
help you burn more body fat throughout the
day- even when you're not working out.
Sounds pretty great, huh?! And no, you will
not start to look like a man. Promise.
SNEAKY CALORIES
Be on the lookout for hidden calories.
Many drinks are packed with sugar which
can stall your weight loss. Instead opt for
refreshing drinks flavored with essential
oils. Sparkling water infused with berries is
also a great option.

DRINK UP
Speaking of drinks, are you getting enough
water every day? Most women fall short on
their daily water intake. The goal is to drink
half your body weight in ounces each day.
So, if you weigh 150 pounds, aim for 75
ounces of water per day.
STRESS BE GONE
Repeat after me: Cortisol is your weight loss
enemy. When you're stressed, your body
produces excess Cortisol. This hormone
actually promotes body fat and sabotages
your weight loss efforts. Make sure you are
getting plenty of restful sleep and focus on
incorporating plenty of self-care practices
into your day. Self-care can include
activities such as meditation, walks, or a
relaxing lavender bath.
