Horry County Parks and Rec provides dozens of facilities , programs
The Horry County Parks and Recreation Department operates programs and facilities throughout the county , including 27 boat landings and 30 public parks .
Some of the county ’ s facilities span 100 acres in size while others are a fraction of an acre .
The amenities range from ballfields and picnic shelters to 22 beach accesses .
