Several beautiful parks are maintained by the City of Conway . Collins Park boasts tennis courts , picnic shelters and children ’ s playground equipment . It is located at Main Street and 16th Avenue .
The Conway Recreation Complex is located on Mill Pond Road . The 50-acre park offers walking paths , picnic tables , a shelter , a playground , three multipurpose fields , five baseball / softball fields and a soccer field .
Smith Jones Park , located off U . S . 378 , features two shelters , a playground , a baseball / softball field , two tennis courts , outdoor basketball courts and will soon offer disc golf . The swimming pool is being repaired .
Riverfront Park is located downtown along the Waccamaw River in Conway ’ s historic district . A children ’ s playground , picnic areas and festivals are a few of the attractions . Well-maintained walkways with swings and benches overlooking the marina and the river make walking a truly great experience .
Kingston Park is located at Fourth Avenue and Main Street , where folks have benches and an attractive grassy area to sit and sip their coffee after a morning of shopping in Downtown Conway . Another park area where folks can sit and relax is at the Robert Mills Garden at City Hall . Scarborough Alley downtown is also a pretty place to take a stroll .
Sherwood Parks I and II are located near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Sherwood Drive . Picnic tables and a playground can

The newest park is the Waccamaw River Park , off Depot Road just over the Main Street Memorial Bridge .
The 237-acre park includes a picnic shelter , walking trails , a mountain bike trail , boardwalk , observation platforms , a ninehole disc golf course and plenty of nature for the whole family to enjoy .
