She says that Back home, everyone plays Holi, kids and elders, entire families and friends. They visit each other’s homes bringing homemade food or sweets like sheera and sundal. “I’ve never seen people argue or fight suring Holi,” she shares. Homes are filled with friendly faces, everyone is happy, incense is constantly burning and lamps are lit.
“These celebrations bring people together and remind them where they came from and who they are.”
