The time spent showed in their results as they started doing well leading up to the finals, racing in several races including Browning, MT, Sheridan, WY and Ft. Hall, ID the summer of 2018. The team of Shetlands they used at Championship of Champions were Ghost Face, Fancy Gun, and Hooligan. The boys put their time in breaking and training not only their current team but other ponies along the way. Starting with Tippiz, a pony they purchased in 2016. “The boys bought her and Kemmer showed them how to break her and coached them on what to do”, Paula says, “Then he stepped back and let them do the work”. She hit the relay trail that year. In 2017 the boys bought and 4 broke Ghost Face and Fancy Gun. In 2018 the boys were gifted two bucksins with a colt (Felica, Rapun- zal and Empire) from Gigi, Melinda Kop and family. Then a roan named War Drum from Mike Loring and family. The training that they put into their ponies led to winning a custom-made bit from Tom Balding Bits and Spurs for 2018 Pony of the Year with Ghost Face.
