H ard work and practice DOES make dreams come true! That’s what Lil’ Buffalo Runnerz found out when they became the 2018 Youth Relay Champions at HNIRC’s Championship of Champions, Walla Walla, WA. IIY came together with three brothers and the desire to WIN! The Kemmer family attended the Cham- pionships in Billings, Montana in the fall of 2017. When Cliff Kemmer, then 11 years old, saw what the Youth Relay winner at the Championship of Champi- ons won, he told Kemmer (father), “I’m going to win it next year.” Kemmer replied in a supporting tone, “It takes dedication, training and a lot of prac- tice, so keep that in mind”. That was advice the boys took to heart and then to the track. “We are a family of ten Kemmer’s”, says mom Paula “Paula, DJ, Courtney, Jillian, Joyce, Cliff, Vin- nie Moe, Krue and Quinn”. When the young relay team owners took their positions, Cliff Kemmer, 12 years old, became the rider, Vinnie Moe Kem- mer, 10 years old, became the mugger and ,Krue Kemmer, 7 years old, the back-holder.
