CHRISTMAS CITY CHORUS, MARION, INDIANA
It's CHRISTMAS (City Chorus, that is) IN JULY!!! Summer is in full swing with chorus singing engagements, family vacations, a shower for baby Emily (future Sweet Adeline), 4-H fairs, and family fun. We're HOT, healthy, happy, and having fun!! Behind the scenes, though, it is business as usual with new music being learned for our November show, which is a murder mystery. The script is ready, casting is complete, and all systems are "go" for a fabulous show. (More about that in the next issue, but save the date: November 2, 2013!). Finally, something that regional members might want to examine more closely is a new project we are pursuing in October. Christmas City Chorus is sponsoring a VENDOR FAIR in Marion, Indiana. (Wow! Just think about all of that available merchandise in one central location!! Shopping spree!!) After paying a simple booth rental fee, vendors will have a very lucrative opportunity to make contacts and sales on October 5th. Editor’s Note: Baby Emily, the newest member of the Christmas City Chorus, has arrived! She was born at 12:53 a.m., July 18. She weighs 8 pounds, 8 ounces and is 21 inches long. Mother and daughter are doing well!
