MISS DIVA COLLABS
WITH GLEN
WASHINGTON ON
NEW SINGLE
L
ove has been explored by
several art forms by almost all
artistes the world over. The topic
fills radio talk shows; sells books,
movies and infuses the works of
many visual artists. It is when
musicians and singers use love in
their work perhaps it is here where
love enters the soul with
vengeance. Montreal based reggae
singer, Miss Diva’s EP takes on
love with the release of “Seven
Shades of Love” that includes the
bonus track “Find Your Way to Me”,
a duet with Glen Washington. The
track was pure serendipity.
Washington was in Montreal for a
concert when Miss Diva simply
said, “Can we work together?
Within 2 days they were in the
famed studios of iconic veteran
Vern Maytone. Diva wrote her
verse, Glen wrote his and by 4 am
the love flowed. Produced by
Bobby Pottinger of Indie Roots
Records and now appearing on the
EP in time for the Toronto launch on
Friday, July 28th for a listening
party and show at Da House of
Jerk, located at 680 Rexdale Blvd.

challenges but when stars align
and love prevails you end up with
“Seven Shades of Love”; available
