The margin per kilogram of beef sold has steadily increased since 2015, reaching $ 2.01 / kg in 2023, the highest recorded in 18 years. This improvement can be attributed to a decrease in the cost of production, and a slight decrease in the average price received.
The cost of production at Glenalpine has consistently been lower than the average of other ProfitProbe producers since around 2016( refer to Graph 3).
