TECHNICAL GLOSSARY
APPROXIMATE TOP SPEED IN MILES PER HOUR: A measurement of approximate top speed at wide open throttle. Published approximate top speeds were attained under specific test conditions. Actual top speed may vary significantly; based on load, water conditions, etc.
APPROXIMATE MILES PER HOUR @ 3000 RPM’ S: A measurement of approximate speed at 3000 revolutions per minute. Published approximate miles per hour at 3000 rpm speeds were attained under specific test conditions. Actual speeds may vary, based on load, water conditions, etc.
APPROXIMATE DRY WEIGHT: A measurement of a boat with the base engine( s) and without provisions, fuel, water, & waste.
BEAM: Width of a boat at its widest point.
BLANK: A boat without an engine or engine accessories.
BLANK SPACE: Indicates the information was not available because the engine option has not been tested and neither estimates nor actual information is available. Also, circumstances could have prevented the actual testing of that engine data.
BOW THRUSTER: A battery operated propulsion device usually located at the bow used for maneuvering at close quarters.
BRIDGE CLEARANCE: Height measurement is from the water line to the highest permanent structure on the deck usually the windshield, canvas top in stored position or to the highest point above arch( top of masthead light).
CE MAXIMUM PERSONS CAPACITY: The maximum number of on-board persons based on ISO standard criteria.
CABIN HEADROOM: Measurement from cabin floor to the highest ceiling height.
COCKPIT DEPTH: Measurement from side of deck to cockpit deck normally taken at the helm.
