Pat Gitersonke/MA earned her bachelor’s
degree from MSU before coming to Siena
for a master’s in elementary education.
After teaching and serving as administrative assistant at Blissfield Elementary
for 16 years, Pat recently was appointed
elementary school principal. She and her
husband, Ken, have two sons.
Dorothy Gonzales lives in East Lansing
and works at the Michigan Department of
Health. She will be the first Hispanic to
serve as chairperson of the MSU Board of
Trustees, of which she has been a member
for 8 years. Dorothy earned her master’s
degree at MSU.
Kathryn Hodgkiss Kolash of Appleton,
WI, had a variety of jobs in the years
immediately after graduation, including
working for Osterman’s Jewelers, selling
TV advertising, and being a nanny. She
currently is a jeweler for Avenue Coins and
Jewelry. Her husband, Ron, is a CPA. “In
1997, we adopted two beautiful girls,
biological sisters, age 7 and 4. As a family
we are very happy and blessed.”
