Barbara Bernath Blumenauer lives in
Adrian and works as a graphic artist at
the Daily Telegram. She has three
children: Jacob, Isaac, and Gabrielle.
after 26 years teaching business and social
studies, he took advantage of early
“retirement” and now works four days a
week in financial planning and insurance.
The other three days he spends at the log
cabin he and wife Carolyn purchased
several years ago on Crystal Lake, a
“natural paradise” 25 minutes from
Adrian. Gary and Carolyn, married since
1966, have two adult children.
Dolores Stratton Ehinger/MA took
early retirement in 1988 after 23 years
teaching in the Adrian schools plus nine
years teaching in Burundi, Africa. She
