Mind
For him who has conquered the mind,
the mind is the best of friends; but for one
who has failed to do so, his mind will remain
the greatest enemy. - BG 6:6 -
The mind should be used to understand the prime necessity of
human beings, and that should be presented authoritatively. The
power of thought should be developed in association with persons
who are authorities in the scriptures, saintly persons and spiritual
masters and those whose thinking is highly developed.
- BG 10:4-5, purport -
One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not
degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul,
and his enemy as well. - BG 6:5 -
