NEF 'Funding your venture' panel
Oliver Pawle, Founder, and Neeta Patel (pictured near right), CEO of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation hosted a 'Funding your Venture' panel discussion with guest speakers Brent Hoberman, co-founder of ProFounders Capital, Stephen Welton, CEO of the Business Growth Fund and The Rt Hon Lord Young of Graffham PC DL, Prime Minister David Cameron's enterprise advisor, on 29th November 2012 at the Royal Overseas League in London.
Seven groups of students launched their mobile apps on 3rd December 2012 at the Apps for Good marketplace at BT Tower in London. Among the award-winning apps were an app that helps users learn more about plant growing; a game to encourage students to read books; an app using QR codes to help users find their way around a complex place and a travel app allowing users to update their Oyster Card via their mobile phone.
Harvir, Zain and Zach Latif (pictured near right) celebrated their joint November & December Birthday Festivities at The Rafayel Hotel, London on Saturday 8th December 2012. Taking inspiration from PSY's 'Gangnam Style' video - which is a satirical musical take on Gangnam-gu, Seoul’s most expensive district (the tiny area accounts for 10% of land value in South Korea) and actually means South of the River - the Latifs celebrated "Gangnam Style" at the hotel which is on the South side of the Thames!
The New Entrepreneurs Foundation (NEF), founded by Oliver Pawle and led by Neeta Patel as CEO, hosted a Women Entrepreneurs networking event on Monday 10th December 2012 at The Coach Makers in Marylebone, London. Guest speakers Kathleen Alder, Miranda Ballard, Jane Michell, Lara Morgan, Lopa Patel (pictured far right), Penelope Sacorafou and Laura Williams, joined a panel to discuss "what it takes to be a great entrepreneur".
