Native Music by Cherie (Marshall) Cohenotti From opening for Lil’ Rob to working with Magic of NB Ridaz, Seattle-born rapper Christian “Supaman” Takes Gun, reps the Crow Tribe out of Crow Agency, Montana by taking his rap game to new heights. Supaman was kind enough to chat with us about a few of the happenings in his music career. Red Honey: How did you come up with your stage name and what does it mean? “I was on my way to a DJ battle with no name. So, I just though of something that represents good and takes out his enemies with ease so I came up with Supaman. Plus, it’s off the wall, so people [are like] “what’s this guy about?” RH: Tell us about your family life. “Family life is the best. There’s nothing like it. I have a beautiful wife named Angie and two kids. Christiane is my daughter’s name who is 10 and Samuel is my son who is 6. They all support me in every area of my life and vice versa. Family life is good. Sometimes it gets hard being on the road away from home, but we’ve been able to travel as a [family] to a few spots and it works out. I also work out of my house, with the studio and production, so I get to be at home and stop what I’m doing if my kids need a spanking real quick.
