EXT. MEADOW- AFTERNOON A little girl about seven years of age with blonde flowing hair is walking alongside a tall man with short, clean cut brown hair, both in rather casual clothing. The two are holding hands and walking on a crystal clear day through a beautiful meadow. The girl looks up at the man.
DAUGHTER Daddy, where are we going again?
The man smiles down at the little girl.
FATHER I’ m going to show you my favorite place Maddie. I always used to come here when I was your age and I want to share it with you.( stops walking and looks around him) Isn’ t it pretty here?
The daughter stands next to her father looks ahead of her and makes a grim face.

FATHER( looks at his daughter with a confused expression on his face)
The father noticed his daughter staring blankly in front of her. The father looks ahead of him and let’ s go of his daughters hand as he sees the trees all around them slowly rotting away and the grass turning brown. The sky is growing dark as fire slowly engulfs them. The father’ s face is suddenly filled with horror and fright.
FATHER Come on Maddie, we have to go!
No daddy.
MADDIE
The father turns around and sees MADDIE on her knees with a blank look on her face staring at the ground.
FATHER Maddie, get up.
