1 . Increase • Consult with the RAP Working Group Traditional Owner representative April 2024 HR Manager , understanding , value and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures , histories , knowledge and rights through cultural learning .
2 . Demonstrate respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by observing cultural protocols . and TOMG on the development and implementation of a Cultural Learning Strategy ( CLS ) to build cultural competency of NQ Dry Tropics staff in terms of knowledge , skills and attitudes .
• Develop , implement and communicate the CLS , including formal and informal training for our staff , Board and TOMG .
• Provide opportunities for RAP Working Group members , HR managers , and other key leadership staff to participate in formal and structured
cultural learning .
• Nurture respectful relationships by holding a networking opportunity between the Board and TOMG . For example , hold a meeting on concurrent
days with a joint breakfast or dinner function .

emails , presentations , recruitment documentation etc .
• Increase staff and Board members ’ understanding of the purpose and significance behind cultural protocols , including Acknowledgement of
Country and Welcome to Country protocols .
• Consult with the TOMG to develop , implement and communicate Cultural Protocols best practice that includes staff , partners , and subcontractors .
