Help Can Hunger
Any given week across the state of Ohio, 230,000 people receive emergency food assistance. We find that number heartbreaking, which is why we’ ve conducted the Help Can Hunger food drive over the last 13 years. Last year, employees across Rea’ s multiple offices collected 29,175 pounds * of food for area food pantries.
The annual campaign puts office-against-office to see which one can collect the most pounds of non-perishable food per employee. Rea’ s Cambridge office won the 2016 event, which collected 360 pounds of food per employee – up from the previous year’ s 310 pounds per employee.
