Though funds are not available as of the time of this writing , Jeremy is working on increasing access to private lending opportunities — especially for beginners .
Over the last seven years , Jeremy has sold 100 + properties worth $ 42 million . Since starting Friendly Flipper Academy in 2017 , Jeremy has had more than 250 students .
Jeremy has some advice for people just beginning their real estate journeys , especially with all the “ naysayers ” in the current market .
“ You need to look at the people who are successful doing what you want to do and realize that if they can do it , you can do it ,” Jeremy said . “ Don ' t even get me started on the news . Their whole business is to capture your attention . Of
course , negative stories are going to get more attention than positive stories . So , it ' s really about filtering what comes into your reality , and just feeding yourself mentally with realistic , positive stuff like success stories of people who are actually doing what you want to do .”
People will always rent and buy homes , Jeremy added . So , in his opinion , there ’ s still plenty of room for people to have a business in the real estate industry .
“ You just have to adapt to the current market and the best way to do that is to really just start taking action and studying your market ,” Jeremy said . “ Understand what the prices are in your neighborhood and understand why they ' re different now than than they
were six months ago . But really , you ’ ve got to start taking action . And the first thing to do is to just get out there , walk into a house , and write an offer .”
