For God so love the world that he gave His only begotten son. That is love to the highest degree.

Could you do that? Could you sacrafice your only child to die to save the world? To be honest,

you I could not do that. This is the time of the year that causes one to think about the goodness of

God. If you ever find yourself doubting that you are loved you are wrong. God loves you and

we are very special in Gods eyes. Out of millions of sperms, God choose you and placed you in

your mothers wound. How Awesome is that?

The Easter season is upon us. A holy time. A time for reflecting on how good the Lord has been

to us. A time for gratefulness. A time to settle ourselves. A time for the peace of God. The name

of Jesus is so soothing. Don’t you think? Whisper the name of Jesus sometimes and see how

soothing this act can be.

Let’s take a look at some of the zion songs that are associated with Holy Week and the

Resurrection. Songs that bring tears to one’s eyes either from sadness because of the way Jesus

was treated or from the Joy of knowing that early Sunday morning he rose and he lives!

There is not greater love- Jesus went to Calvary to save a wretch like you and me that’s love.

They hung him high, they stretched him wide he hung his head for me

he died that’s love. That’s not how the story ends, three days later

he rose again that’s love.

There is something about that name- Jesus Jesus Jesus there is something about that name.

Master, Savior, Jesus like a fragrance after the rain.

There is something about that name.

Don’t Cry- Don’t cry dry your eyes. He’s not dead. He has risen

The Blood- The blood that gives me strength from day to day. It will never lose its power.

Jesus Excellent- Jesus excellent is thy name in all the earth.

He decided to die- He decided to die just to save me.

Oh Happy Day- Oh happy day, He washed my sins away oh happy day!

He is wonderful – Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! The Lord our God

He is wonderful.

Be of good cheer my friends! He has risen. He is not dead. Open up your hearts and let the Son

Shine in!
