The Power of Resurrection
Jacqueline D. Moore
As we enter into March, thoughts of the life, death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ begin to cross our minds. We can't help it and it doesn't matter if you are Christian, Jewish or Agnostic. The basic lesson of the life and death of Jesus Christ is as well known as the bible itself. It is a lesson that almost every child has heard. However, the word resurrection isn't just limited to describing Jesus. It is a term that can be applied to so many other areas of our lives.
The are two very distinct definitions of the word resurrection that I found in the Merriam Webster dictionary that I chose. They are 1 : an instance of coming back into use or importance. And 2 : the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead. Since most of us already know the story of the Life and death of Jesus, I want to turn to the first definition for a moment.
