REAL LIFE REAL FAITH MOF: We’re definitely glad to have you Brother Rory. How are things going for you these days? Brother Rory Sheriff: It’s a pleasure. Things are going pretty good. No complaints. MOF: You are doing so much these days and accomplishing some great things. If you had to pick an accomplishment that stands out the most which would you pick and why? Brother Rory Sheriff: Wow that’s pretty tough to answer. I’ll have to say recently producing August Wilson’s Tony award winning stage play “Jitney.” MOF: What has been your biggest inspiration in life? What drives you to do what you do? LIFESTYLE FEATURE Brother Rory Sheriff : The list for this is so way too long . But I will say my mother and how she overcame so much , from raising four kids and taking care of her sick parents at the same time . My mom is a super hero . MOF : When did you first realize that you were going to venture into being a playwright ? Brother Rory Sheriff : After going to Hollywood to shop a screenplay and hearing the word No three times . I decided to take things in my own hands . I took my own money and invested in my dream . So far best decision I made to date . NOMADIC | 24
