Even vegetables have different qualities for us based on their energy. Let’s think about greens for example. Spinach, lettuce, kale, and many more greens reach up towards the sun as they grow. They soak up the chlorophyll, and when we eat them, they fill our blood with oxygen. This energy can enhance our moods, lift our spirits, and make us feel more energetic. Other vegetables, such as roots (carrots, parsnips, beets, etc.) can help ground us when we feel overwhelmed and over stimulated. This is because they grow in the ground and absorb the nutrients from the soil.
So here’s a suggestion for you . . .
When you are eating, try to consider the energetic makeup of your food. As you begin to become aware of how this is passed onto your body and mind, you may start to make different choices.
