annie Moolman is the Executive Chairman and Managing
Director of the Moolman Group, which develops and manages
a wide range of commercial properties countrywide. The
Moolman Group offers an exceptional portfolio of skills and
an extensive network in the property sector.
Moolman’s prominence in either developing or managing a
large number of properties in Polokwane, as well as his entreperneurial
leadership and his experience serving on numerous boards and
committees, prepared him for his role as the former mayor of Polokwane.
He was also the Deputy President of the Limpopo Gaming Board,
has served on the Limpopo Roads Agency Board and was Chairman of
the Limpopo Tender Board for two years. Moolman remains an active
contributor to the Polokwane community and a significant player in the
property development sector.
As an experienced pilot, his flying experience and astute approach
to investing and developing properties have taken both him and the
Moolman Group to new heights.
The Moolman Group is a family-run business that was founded in
1967 by his father, Dr Jan Moolman. Over the last 48 years, the company
has grown from strength to strength, with rapid expansion over the years,
due to a good network of trusted partners. In February this year, the
Group owned and managed assets valued at more than R7 billion.
The Group currently has 90,000m² of property under construction
and successfully manages a further 750,515m² of retail, commercial and
industrial space.
The Moolman Group’s major investments include mainly retail
and industrial properties, along with select office investments. Its
comprehensive commercial property portfolio features regional malls,
shopping centres, value centres, industrial warehouses, motor towns and
