In the Western Cape, Greeff has built a commanding market share, underpinned by consistent performance by their award winning sales team, advanced systems, powerful marketing tools, and strong brand equity. The next chapter is about delivering the Greeff difference across South Africa particularly in the upper luxury market by connecting clients to deep regional expertise through a seamless, referral-driven agent network.
Balancing Tradition with Modernity
Tim is deeply respectful of the business his father, Mike Greeff, has built since 2001.“ My father built this with grit, reputation, and trust. It’ s my job to preserve that integrity while adapting the business to where real estate is heading.”
That means embracing post-COVID work models, prioritising digital-first marketing, and fostering an agent culture supported by the agency’ s broader value proposition where office presence is encouraged but not compulsory.
“ The office is a launchpad, not an 8-to-5 obligation. It’ s about building an ecosystem of success and collaboration and we know, our agents time is best spent in the field helping clients.” Tim explains.
On Competition and Industry Trends
Tim is candid about the shifting real estate landscape. While he acknowledges the growing appeal of revenue-share models like eXp, he believes many agents ultimately return to more traditional platforms once they realise the value of economies of scale, particularly the structured support, proven systems, and cohesive culture that an established business offers.
